Wonderful day

Walk before breakfast down by the river was still a bit muddy but was wonderful to hear a woodpecker in the trees.
Headed of in the car, about eight miles up the road, and then walked up onto the moor. Wonderful birdsong, curlew, lapwing and grouse.
Lots of cyclists on the road and one on the track we were walking on.
Very cold and a bit windy but fabulous.
Again apart from the cyclist we spoke to nobody while out walking.
Started a new book this afternoon. So tired think I might struggle to remain awake until bedtime.
