Staying put

Ofcourse this is a foto I took the other week... Sweetheart in his armchair keeping an eye onto the world, on the news.

I know he's seated like this now too, as he is most hours of the day. And now with Russia's war against independant and democratic Ukraine, next to the EU border, he's following the news from this spot too... so I could have made this image today, had I been there. 

We have our daily phonecall and I know he's OK, most worried, but OK... and sad as a few days earlier he informed me that our dear friend Kostas died from the cancer that he was diagnosed with last December; we both lost a most dear friend who's respected by many in Chania
