Mono Monday...Fountain

It's a cold, grey day again but I had a good morning with the craft group in the library creating and decorating a glass bottle with air drying clay...to be finished next week!
The image, a small historical landmark, is a water fountain built in memory of Spedding Whitworth, one of the early brewers of the Whitworth family and a benefactor to the town.
Erected To the memory of the late SPEDDING WHITWORTH J.P. C.C. By the inhabitants of Wath Upon Dearne And District As a token of their appreciation Of his generosity, and the many Valuable public services rendered By him, also as a tribute to His character and personal worth

Odd that it is a water fountain but, I suppose water is the basic component of beer.....
