Stuck

This is my grandfather's mercury barometer. Well, the top of it. And it's not working sadly, nor has it done so for a long time. I am in touch via email with Gordon, who is a clock and barometer mending enthusiast based in Billericay (a moderately long way from Great Bookham unfortunately). Before delivering my barometer to him he is suggesting various home remedials which I will show you on a later blip. However sadly, so far they have not been effective. As you can see from today's blip. I dont know what the weather is with you, but here it is raining pretty hard and has been for several hours. Also I can tell you that it has been stuck on "fair" since before Christmas (including througlut Storm Eunice, or whatever it was called).
