Spanish Fig

Not really. I imagine it's a Moreton Bay Fig, or one of the other local species. I was in Tamar Street, Ballina on (yet another) very wet day, and liked the image of the old fig tree with background of wet road and Spanish-style building. 

This is a back-blip, posted on Tuesday. Yesterday was a busy day, doing very little except watching the rain fall, checking the weather radar, and hoping that our recent roof repair held firm. It did, fortunately.

During the heaviest rain, every palm tree trunk became a watercourse, with little waterfalls every now and then - see extra.
