Pineapple Express

Warm, blustery and very, very rainy today. I'm not sure that's really what we had today, but it was certainly an atypical weather day! 

I had a bunch of meetings for the botanical garden, but because I was so organized yesterday I, for once, didn't feel overwhelmed! So I took myself to my favorite nursery and bought a whole bunch of spring flowering plants, mostly annuals and bulbs: forced tulips, anemones, Iceland poppies, ranunculus. But the star of the day was actually a camellia at the nursery (that I didn't buy!) in the pouring rain - isn't it a stunner?
