Tiny mushroom
It's too wet even for fungal growth. I searched the garden high and low because the weather could not be relied upon for long enough to look elsewhere. The rain might stop, but then it pours. Still a minor inconvenience compared to the people enduring shocking floods in the north of the state.
At last I found this one tiny mushroom growing in a pot of bonsai Chinese elm. Its cap is about 1.5cm diameter and the bonsai gave it scale, living in the leaf litter of its tiny forest.
The extra is the top of the cap.
