1st day of meteorological spring

Out for a walk with a friend we were treated to what lies ahead as the first of the tree blossoms begin to appear.
Went to the movies in the afternoon to see "The Duke".
Weather wise: a rainy day coming up, the buckets are out on the lounge floor in force as no progress has been made on fixing the roof.
The tube drivers are on strike so my plan to go to the wetlands has has been put to the side.
