Mary's crocuses
This morning we had a final wander around Mary's garden. Everything was in order: roses pruned, Clematis plants pruned and tied in to the fence, spring bulbs coming into flower. Sad that Mary won't enjoy the results of her labour this year. I collected a couple of seed heads I found remaining on two of her Clematis plants and have taken them away to grow. These little crocuses were opening up in the sunshine.
Sue left early afternoon to get her flight back to Spain, soon followed by us making our way to my Mum's home near Watford.
