Couldn’t decide….

which shot I preferred, the Mountain Hares, not completely changed to summer coats yet and looking like meerkats or the Oystercatcher and Lapwing with snow in the background. Went early before the overnight frost had melted in the hot sun and heard and saw and photographed Oysties,, Peesies (Lapwings), Curlew, Skylarks, Ravens and then the pair of Blue Hares. The waders only arrived last night, they were circling the house at 21.23. There are still plenty of geese in, Pink footed and Greylag , but so lovely to have Summer migrants in.
