Grey Heron

There was a lot of activity at the foot of the loch today. Children playing in the swing park area and bins being emptied. I wandered round to the side of the loch but didn't have to go very far when the young one spotted me and flew over from the centre of the loch. She had some of her fish and was quite ok with a woman who stopped to take a photo on her phone. She was off like a shot though when a woman and young girl approached. I have long thought she was very wary of children. I returned after lunch an spotted her at the side of the loch and gave her the rest of her fish.
