Post pancakes!

Lunching ladies enjoyed their chicken and vegetable soup followed by pancakes with traditional sugar and lemon. This is how the top of my cooker looked after juggling two frying pans to keep them supplied!
One had a bad fall in the street last week and has broken her cheek bone and left arm.  May be put in plaster at fracture clinic tomorrow.  She was pleased to see everyone and we were horrified to see that her hand and whole arm is black with bruising.  At the moment she only has a sling and was happy to have her pancakes cut up for her.  It was her first outing since the fall.  As she lives on her own she was grateful for the company.  Her daughter phoned today to tell her she has tested positive for Covid so will not be able to visit.  She last saw her on Saturday so hopefully she will be OK.
By a strange coincidence I got a phone call from another friend who has fallen and bruised her arm and broken a cheekbone.  Hope it is not a pattern!
