contrast

this is my friends front door.
i was waiting outside long enough to get a snap
and upon reflection, i love the contrast of the door, the bricks and the greeeeen weed.
we had a great evening
awesome food
and a good time to reflect on uni life now that its coming to an end.
it was lovely.

the day was hard
a long slog
and it ended with a super quick trip to A&E with my flatmate who took a bash to the head playing footie and his parents were worried so we jumped in a taxi.....and were literally in A&E for all of about a minute!
we walked all the way back because he was too stingy to pay for a taxi!
Can i just mention that i was already in bed with pj's on and ready to sleep when this happened!

in other news, im reading ecclesiastes at the moment...and found this passage particularly apt for my long days...
'much study wearies the body'.
but....'however many years anyone may lives, let them enjoy them all.'

all in all, iv enjoyed today!
