First daffodil

First daffodil out in the garden, one of those mini ones, the larger ones are still completely in the bud. And so it is Spring. There is even some sun sometimes, the birds are busy courting, everything in the garden is starting to sprout, but it's hard to feel hopeful when there's a full blown war in Ukraine and a terrible flooding in Australia. Life is just so fragile ...
