Hope
It was an early start for J and Kilda and she wasn’t happy about it, as she had a fly ball competition to go to. I took Darwin for a run with the club and then came back for showers for both of us. JD and FT came over around 10.30 as we were going to the Scotland game. Walked Darwin down to RD’s flat so he could look after Darwin for the afternoon and then headed to Murrayfield along the Water of Leith. Arrived in plenty of time to get a couple of beer, which they had put up in prices since last time, and a pastie for lunch. There was a big country dancing thing on the pitch before the game to get the crowd going, including the large France contingent. First half wasn’t great, Scotland didn’t play well and the ref was atrocious. France should have had at least one player sent off. Some poor handling and a good France try meant Scotland were down at half time but it was just a sign of what was to come. Second half was even worse but at least you did get to see how rugby was meant to be played when France put in another 3 tries. Seems Darwin wasn’t settling too well so headed straight back to relieve RD of his duties. Had a nice night in playing some games with JD and FT and waiting for J to come back. Kilda did well and her team came first this competition. Turned into a late night.
