Shrove Tuesday concert

This evening it was the pancake evening at the church, followed by a fun concert put on by the clergy and staff. There were five items, all equally good. This was the final act by our lovely new rector (in the red) and newly ordained deacons. They sang a song about a day in the lives of the clergy.
 It was the first post Covid gathering of people in the church hall, and one could sense relief that we can finally get together again( still with Covid protocol )
I played golf this morning in cool misty conditions - the cooler weather didn't really help my golf!! Oh well, hopefully it will come right soon.
Hubby now has the difficult task of answering questions from our 5 and 3  year old granddaughters in Canada about a story he wrote and sent to them,!! They are really good questions which need accurate answers. Problem is they want the fairy in the story to visit them after school today!! So we have to get around that one!!
