St Pancake's Day!

The first of March - St David's Day, hence a local church flying the Welsh flag. Both Welsh symbols were involved in our day - leeks in our soup (left over from yesterday's home-made pot) and a daffodil. After our soup, we enjoyed pancakes for Shrove Tuesday. 

Dry this morning, when Mr PP and I both had a haircut. Mine at a salon cost seven times what Mr PP paid his barber! We're both happy with the results. Soon after 2pm, even as forecast, the rain returned with a vengeance. But spring is officially here in terms of the gardener's or farmer's calendar, so that's encouraging.
