Finished!

The blanket is now complete. I tried various edgings but settled on a simple three rounds of double crochet in the end. I can see all the mistakes I have made, and I am already thinking of ways to improve for the next one I make. Still, I am pleased with this as a first effort. I might use this as a cot blanket, depends on the size of the cot we get really!

Isn't the internet an amazing thing? In the absence of Mum to teach me, I have found various helpful videos to show me how to do some of the different crochet techniques. Good old You tube :)
