A gorgeous day today and as the wind has died down decided it was about time I did some uphill walking for a change. Decided on Dodd which is quite easy as far as uphill walks go in that the path is mud free!  Met plenty of lovely people along the way to chat to and everybody was so happy to be out in the sunshine.  Its actually Misty who gets people chatting as they usually stop to say hello to her which she loves.  After having lunch in the car I stopped off at Bassenthwaite for Misty to have a paddle which she enjoyed.  She very kindly posed with Dodd in the background so you can see in the extras postcard the fell we walked up.   Oh and the main blip is a guy admiring the view and the lake is Bassenthwaite
