We completed another three Wainwrights today, and have now gone over 200 to 201 in fact. "Only" 13 to go.
We completed the Kentmere Round which we only went about half way round when we did it a couple of years ago. The problem with that is that you have to go all the way back up to the path along the ridge of Fells. So it was a ten mile walk today with a long trek along a path without gaining any height then a steep climb then at last we were on the path again. Three summits ticked off;
Froswick
Ill Bell
Yoke.
Really tired now!
The photo shows the silvery Gill winding its way down the valley in the centre of the horseshoe of Fells. I think it's called Hagg Gill. Windermere is in the distance, and, not really visible in this but easily seen in reality, the sea at Morecambe Bay.
LooseCanon’s extra shows the fells we climbed.
