A Gray Day

Wet start, overcast for the rest of the day. First day of Meteorological  Spring, not looking promising.
This little pond is just down the lane I live on. For at least 10 years (since we moved here) it has been a dirty dumping ground for rubbish and junk.
At the end of last year a group of volunteer's, organised by the parish council, did a mega cleanup. It might not look good but its a lot better than it was. In a few weeks time they will be planting wild flowers and small shrubs.
Hopefully it will become an asset for the village
