Flight over Scotland
S took me for a flight over central Scotland in his little plane this afternoon (actually, only 1/10 of it is his!). We flew from Fife Airport, just outside Glenrothes, over to Loch Lomond. We had planned to fly north up the loch, to Crianlarich, but there was cloud around Ben Lomond that we didn't want to get mixed up in so we turned round just south of Ben Lomond and went back over Callander, Comrie and Crieff flying at about 2,500 to 3,000 feet. Today's blip is of meanders in the river Isla, just north of Coupar Angus, with the Firth of Tay in the distance.
The extra is Loch Lomond from the air, with Ben Lomond on the right.
