The pancake grin

All the way from western Canada. Cheered me up immensely. She makes em big and fluffy, North American style, and eats them with a vegan sausage and some maple syrup.

Piss awful day weather wise. Had to work this morning. The Dizzle came in off a night shift at 8.30am and fell asleep on the couch. Mike the painter came and went leaving us with sticky door frames. TSM and K went to London to see Amy Winehouse who is appearing dead at The Design Museum (very sad apparently). I felt under the weather but for the second day running returned a negative covid test.  Got very depressed and angry about the situation in the Ukraine. Decided to make tapas to cheer myself up (see extra). Started watching The French Dispatch which is Wes Anderson at his whacky best, Benicia Del Toro and Lea Seydoux have a brilliant chemistry.

FaceTimed The Girl Racer, cheered up briefly. TSM came home which made me even happier. But very tired and sad for the most part …
