University House
I never really tend to take architectural photos, but I was sat in the atrium of University House yesterday and this was in front of me so I thought I would give it a go. I like that it is sought of symmetrical, but not quite (on account of the balconies, and partially because of the angle I was sat at). Any comment/critique welcome. (Oh and sorry Erin, i realised later that you had already blipped this earlier in the week!)
So I went for an impromptu interview yesterday morning over at Milburn House in the Centre for Cultural Policy with Ruth Leary, who is head of the MA in Creative and Media Enterprises. We had an interesting chat and she offered me a place right at the end of the interview which was a lovely ego boost and made me very happy! I'm hoping finances work out (there's some scholarship money available and I might be able to live on campus for free if I can get a job as a residential tutor), as that's the only barrier in my way at the moment.
Had a lovely long lunch in Xananas with Maddie (and Andy intermittently as he tried to find waitery type things to pretend to be doing in the rather dead restaurant!). I absolutely love our chats and it's nice to have someone who you feel is on the same page as you about so many things, but who would equally respect whatever opinion you had.
The beautiful Charlotte invited us round to hers later on in the day for a couple of glasses of wine and the usual no-holds-barred conversation that we like to indulge in. Was hilarious looking at mine and Maddie's old Deviantart accounts - some cringy teenage-angsty 'art' going on there!
