A day late, but I decided I needed something to cheer me up this afternoon, so I made some pancakes...the first time in around fifty years!  And very nice they were. Weather is absolutely dire, so we postponed our Wednesday walk until tomorrow. I've had no enthusiasm to do much and have been reading a recommended book which involves a talking fig tree...sounds so wrong, but it's actually quite good so far !
