King Alf

Thanks to JensPhotos today for hosting the WidWed challenge on the subject of 'symmetry'.

It's been wet all day, so an inside shot was a must.  This was taken upstairs in WH Smith.  It's a lovely building, I think about a hundred years old, and has these beautiful wall-paintings.  King Alfred was, of course, Winchester's most famous resident king. 

Apart from that, I'm trying not to get swamped in grief over the war in Ukraine and also fighting horrid dizziness, a side-effect of the new meds I've been given.  Hard to carry on as normal, isn't it..
