Standing Water

Warmer temperatures led to pools of water forming on the lake ice which offered up some reflections. And as the sun dropped in to the clouds a bit of colour started to show on the horizon.

Another chance to try out the sky selection in Lightroom's new masking feature. I had exposed for the highlights and needed to raise exposure by two stops and then compensate for the sky. It works well, but more steps to select which mask function to use is a bit annoying.
