Ash Wednesday

We hosted a service for our local group of Churches tonight for Ash Wednesday. It was good to catch up with people I hadn't seen for a long time. This is the little box we keep the ashes made from burnt palm crosses in.
Our organist played the Ukraine National Anthem and, as the news seems to go from bad to unbelievably bad, we prayed for those left in the country and those fleeing and for wisdom for those in posiitons of power.
