Looking for evidence

Residents of Staveley and Bowston are starting a project to record the outflow from the water treatment works and sewage works along the rivers Kent and Gowan, noting discharge from the pipes and any discolouration, whilst other members of the team will be taking water samples and sending them off for analysis.  It could be a long time before we see any progress towards having cleaner rivers which will be suitable for swimming and playing in and better for wildlife.
