A local legend. I've been here over fifty years and I don't remember a time without this place, but I couldn't find any history.  I like the burger on the roof better than the actual food, but it's a popular joint, so what do I know. If you order in the hour before closing, your second basket--burger combo with fries--is half price, so it can get pretty busy in the late afternoon. We were across the street at the Farmers' Market, virtuously stocking up on fruits and vegetables.
