Bridge No More

I took this photo at about 9:00 a.m. today. As you can see, there are quite a number of curious people looking at the fast flowing river that has completely submerged the bridge. The water depth marker showed 13 metres (measured from the normal surface of the river during normal times).

I went back later this afternoon and, it seems that the water did not rise as much, I thought it would. The other noticeable thing was that the flow rate of the river has slowed down quite considerably.
