She’s Wearing One Like Yours

remarked Pat as we looked through the window of Pizza Express. Indeed, I was wearing the same yellow jacket.

A text from NHS has informed me that I remain on ‘the highest risk list’. We carry our own sanitizer and we venture around St Andrews masked, as many people do.

We ventured into Toppins rather splendid bookshop for the first time in two years and enjoyed exploring their very fine and comprehensive range of books which cover all of our many interests. A great pleasure to be in a proper bookshop again.

After we left, we ran into Margaret R, who is one of the volunteers at the HOT House. Margaret is a retired owner of a hostelry in Yorkshire. She is a good friend who speaks her mind.

We chatted about the late Diana, who was Margaret’s best friend for many years, and marvelled at the different background of Diana.

Diana was an Edinburgh Lady who attended a Swiss Finishing School! 

By this time, Pat admitted she was tasting Pizza and that is how I was able to take today’s Blipfoto.

The restaurant was quiet and we sat in the furthest corner from the entrance.

I bought a book! Actually a Cookery Book for Pat.
