Pictures at an exhibition

I took myself off to MRAG (Maitland Regional Art Gallery) today to see the Archibald prize finalist exhibition before it took off touring somewhere else.

On the wall from left to right are the the Packing Room prize winner -  Kathrin Longhurst's portrait of Kate Ceberano,  next, Jude Rae's self portrait titled Inside Out and the winner of the Archibald Prize, Peter Wegner's portrait of Guy Warren at 100.

There were some amazing works and some I wonder how they made it to being a finalist.

While we did have some extremely heavy rain, we seem to have dodged a bullet here and I didn't see any major flooding on the roads while I was out.  I was glad to get home though.
