Just Another Manic Monday

Well actually today it wasn't a manic Monday for me at all - but I suppose you could say it was for my brother as he had to face the early commute up to London at the start of the working week. He's been travelling up to London for over 30 years and he's heartily sick of it (the early starts, the overcrowded trains, the ever increasing cost) - I think his commuting theme tune for the start of the week would be "I Don't Like Mondays" by the Boomtown Rats (apologies to the Bangles considering the title of today's blip!). He sometimes dreads Mondays because he knows that it heralds what can feel like another long slog of commuting and work.
After yesterday's glorious weather it was back to a grey pall again and did not look like a particularly great environment for blipping but I decided to venture out anyway to continue my loosely based bus stop series.
I had driven past this particular advertising poster on the side of a bus shelter a couple of days ago and made a mental note to keep it in mind for a blip if I didn't see anything else and today was that day. It's an advert for an employment agency and the weird shaped dogs are spelling out Monday with the slogan "Love Mondays Again" to encourage people to find a new job they will love. I don't know about you but I think they have the opposite effect - I find them quite sinister and they give me the heebie jeebies!
