Books..

I took some books down from my shelves to create a yellow and blue image for today's tag #UBY (Ukraine blue and yellow). It's not the perfect shade for yellow but it'll have to do.

Today we heard that one of my favourite museums will (temporarily) close it's doors. The Hermitage in Amsterdam. For years it's cooperating with the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. The temporary exhibitions in Amsterdam are made by items from the vaults of St. Petersburg. I feel a bit ambiguous. I can understand the decision and I believe they have also been pressured into it. Even though it is a cooperation between two museums, not two countries. On the other hand, everything Russian is out of place these days. I feel ambiguous about that as well. We must take care not to start hating the Russian people. It's Putin and his lackeys who created all this.
