Tanners Hatch

Met friend D today at a National Trust Property in Surrey - Polesden Lacey.
We had a lovely walk around and had to take a detour due to the recent storm damage. We came across the Tanners Hatch Youth Hostel. It is a centries-old cottage, accessible only on foot and is surrounded by National Trust woodland. Phone reception is rare and there's no Wi-Fi or TV. However it's in an Area of Oustanding National Beauty and close by to the Polesden Lacey Estate.
We had a good catch-up and finished with coffee and cake in the tea shop.
