Aunty Hibiscus and a Daisy

My aunt, who’ll be 90 at the end of this month, drove down from Orewa on the Hibiscus Coast (hence the name) for some help with her iPad.  She’s very outgoing and has a great sense of humour, so we had a fun time with her.

After lunch we drove to Parnell and finished delivering the leaflets. Whilst walking around I spotted the Volkswagen van parked at the side of the road under a shady tree.  I thought it looked fun with the daisies painted on the side.  Strangely, only the passenger side was decorated.

There are 23,183 new community cases of Covid-19 todaywith 503 people in hospital, including 7 in intensive care. The Omicron peak is expected in the next two weeks.
