Tube strike

A total tube shutdown today. An accident that closed the high road meant that there were almost no buses. I walked most of the way to the refugee centre, passing by the Ark building. Because I stopped to rest and spent some time hopefully waiting at bus stops or on stationary buses, the trip took 2 1/2 hours. 
Had a talk with Sophie about Ukraine and about her house and wild garden in Wiltshire. The centre was busy despite the strike.
