Cheesemonger

Was sent home from work early today. There was a power cut (being in an all singing all dancing new office space that means that as well as no computer access, there is also no running water and the toilets can't be flushed - unbeliveable) that couldn't be fixed until 5 o'clock so it was with a light heart that I took an early dart at half one.

Good job really - EJ and B's daughter and partner were coming round for dinner and we had grand plans for a couple of tagines with side dishes. If I'd left work at the usual hour, we would have been eating at about midnight.

The lamb and apricots went down a treat. Not sure that a cheese board is the perfect finish to a Moroccan meal, but who doesn't love a bit of stinky camembert and EJ's beetroot relish?
