Japonica/flowering quince/chaenomeles

A plant of many names, this beautiful bush is now coming into flower. I picked this sprig which has been sitting in a tiny vase for some time, l used it with my light pad. I learnt that it is also called Flowering Quince from blipper Swalecottage who posted a lovely dark red one last week.

Yesterday's "colours of Ukraine" challenge instigated by Miranda1008 was a great success, very rewarding to see so many take part.
