Port Soif

Lovely warm sunny day. I had the conservatory door open this afternoon, and a man came to repair the hole caused by a bad leak in the corner, on the inside which had now dried out. The ducks have been absent for the last few days, so maybe they have ended their holiday in our garden. Max the tortoise has been eating thistles and cucumber. The other tortoise remained asleep in a pile of hay.
I think this is the start of warmer weather, which is very welcome.
I am looking forward to seeing Henry later, visiting for a week, having spent most of the holidays in the library in Durham university, studying hard!
