Thao Nguyen Phan at Tate St Ives

We were impressed by how the exhibits at Tate St Ives, they seemed better and more varied than when we last visited, many years ago. We were very lucky to catch this exhibition by Vietnamese mixed-media artist. This is a still from a video 'Becoming Alluvium' in which she overlays an ancient Cambodian folk tale onto 19th century prints by a French colonialist, and ties the story back to the Mekong river she loves.
