magnolia...

What a miserable day. It was forecast to be cloudy with rain late this afternoon, but the rain started falling early morning and hasn't stopped! Yuck!

Did manage to get a little bit of light gardening done, before a big delivery of bird food arrived so I've been sorting that out and hopefully that should keep them all well fed for a while!

And the magnolia tree has a couple of blooms opening on it now which is always a lovely sight, even on a very grey day.

A very sad day too with the breaking news this afternoon of the passing of the cricketer Shane Warne... such a character and amazing cricketer.  Listening to Talksport as I type this and the disbelief is the one thing that stands out.  So many amazing stories about him
