It was good to escape the horrors of the news and go for a walk around East Head at West Wittering this morning. Hector had a whale of a time, although completely forgot everything he's apparently learned in training about recall and obedience generally, going off with any and every dog we came across. Well, he is still a puppy...but only for another week! Talking of which, I've had a word with the vet's today about 'that' operation he's about to be booked in to...
