Danger!

The weather was sunny but bitterly cold, perfect for a brisk walk with Minty along the high single-track road with its lovely views in every direction.

At one point we were doing some obedience training: Minty sitting waiting in the middle of the road while I marched ahead for about 25 yards. When I stopped and turned round to call him, he was still sitting patiently... with two cars sitting equally patiently behind him!* What a shock I got! Of course Minty came running immediately on command and I apologised as the cars were then able to pass by, but luckily nobody seemed to mind. That image* will stay with me for a while.
