Crocuses (Maybe)

I was due to be taking Cosmo for a walk today. Unfortunately the rain that started Wednesday evening was still quite heavy. It was due to stop later in the day.

Neither of us were very sure about the weather. We started out heading for the woods and park When we got to a junction where we could either head to the woods, or head home, We both decided that home was the better choice. Although we had only been out maybe twenty minutes or so we were both quite wet. There has been so much rain it was impossible to avoid puddles and mud.

I did see these flowers which presume must be crocuses, they don't look very happy about the weather either. The darker green shoots in the picture I think will be daffodils.

In the evening there was quite a nice sunset, though there was a bit too much cloud still. Tomorrow is due to be clear.
