Mowing

I was going to the park when I left home after lunch but when I got outside I realised it had started to rain. I changed my mind and went to the bakery cafe for tea and apple pie instead.
There is a housing estate in the back streets and it seemed the council had been out and mowed the grass this morning. The smell of cut grass was wonderful.
It’s Friday again.
