It’s spring!

A lovely morning spent wandering around Nunney with a friend, who confirmed that the focus ring on my Helios 44M-4 lens is rather stiff and very much harder to turn that her 44M-4.

The sun was shining, the blossom was out and the only thing that marred the morning was the discovery that the lovely little cafe near the castle appears to have closed down - it was completely empty inside.

Unfortunately, Younger Son clipped a couple of cones with the exhaust on the module 1 test today so he failed. He has to do another day's training and retake module 1, which will cost an extra £185.50. His instructor reckons he was unlucky.
