Book group

Market day! We were steadily busy and good sales in the end. A possible new baker came in for a chat, and seems promising.
We had lunch with Lynne and cheered her up a bit, she has persistent bad teeth which is horrible.
Then home for a rest and a chat with Gilly and Wendy!
I am reading’The Silence of the Girls’ for book group. It’s an imagining of the experience of women during the siege of Troy and as you can imagine not very cheerful reading! However I will persist with it as the group is meeting here this time.
