Maturing
The cygnet is maturing and now has more white feathers but its beak hasn't changed colour yet. I've seen it on its own in different locations in the harbour a few times and with its parents sometimes. All three were close enough to the shore for me to get a photo, but I just wanted a shot of the young one.
It cleared up this morning and has been a lovely day. We went for breakfast then G left to do the recycling and hit a bucket of balls while I went shopping, just like in pre-pandemic days.
The blips in solidarity with Ukraine have been so moving. The beauty surrounding me is such a contrast to the devastating images of destruction from Ukraine.
